individual houses, medical centres, public houses, restaurants and hotels
and village halls, David Lewis and the Practice have also achieved an
enviable reputation for their work on Historic and Listed Buildings. Our
expertise includes the conservation and restoration of listed buildings
and their alteration to accommodate new uses, besides the design of new
buildings to fit comfortably into sensitive and historic locations. David
Lewis also provides an Expert Witness and Consultancy Service especially
associated with old or historic buildings and Conservation Areas. Justification
Statements, necessary under P.P.G.15, are prepared for developers, planning
consultants and other architects to accompany Planning Applications affecting
