Tea Rooms.
Conservation
including re roofing of the 17th Century coach house and barn of Tissington
Hall, a grade 1 listed Jacobean country house. The coach House was converted
for use as a tea shop. The restored coach house doors remain shut when
the tea shop is closed but open to reveal tinted frameless glazing which,
owing to the sensitive location, maintain the appearance of a dark, barn
like interior when the tea shop is open. Major design award form the Council
for the preservation of rural England and the country Land Owners Association.
